New Moon in Capricorn

The New Moon makes a quincunx to plutino Orcus and a square to centaur planet Echeclus, which has a cometary coma, like Chiron.

Venus has made a conjunction to Neptunus about an hour before the New Moon. The conjunction squares Sedna, trines centaur planet Cyllarus, forms a quincunx to cubewano Varuna and sextiles cubewano Quaoar. Varuna is an apex planet of a yod pattern, formed by Varuna, Quaoar, Neptune and Venus. Quaoar is squaring the Lunar Nodes.

Quaoar is named for a Native American creation deity of the Tongva people from what is now southern California. Eric Francis has noted that "Quaoar speaks to the rhythms and choreography into which we were born, as these manifest within the family pattern going back generations. It points to how we dance to the music of our own creation more or less unconsciously". Also according to him, "when something is square the lunar nodes, that becomes the point of evolutionary focus."

Mercury is conjunct centaur planet Nessus. This conjunction sextiles centaur planet Pholus, squares plutino Huya and trines cubewano Chaos.
