Mythology
Cyllarus was a beautiful young centaur who attended the Lapith king Pirithous' wedding with other centaurs. Hylonome, one of the few female centaurs was in love with him. Cyllarus was wounded by a spear in the battle and died in the arms of his beloved. In her despair Hylonome killed herself by throwing herself onto the same spear that had pierced her partner.
