THE LEO NEW MOON occurs at 19+ degrees Leo. The sign of Leo is currently a full house of planets and asteroids, which will make way for the two luminaries.

Sun and the Moon are in close conjunction with centaur planet Okyrhoe — named for the daughter of Chiron and Chariklo. She is definitely the “daughter of the centaurs,” and has the shortest orbital period of any of them (24 years). When a lunation is closely conjunct a planet, we pick up the themes of that planet.

Mark Andrew Holmes, one of the more astute observers of new planets, writes, “In Greek mythology, Okyrhoe (in Greek, ‘swift running’ or ‘fast flowing’) was the daughter of Chiron and Chariklo. A prophet, she was changed into a mare by the gods as punishment for revealing their plans to humankind. Astrologically, Okyrhoe seems to indicate being criticized or attacked, being able to cope with attacks or unpopularity, ability to stand up for one’s beliefs or principles.”

In this respect, she takes after her father, Chiron, whose first keyword (given to him by an astronomer) was MAVERICK.

The New Moon is also close to the asteroids Arachne and Isis. Arachne turns up where there are conspiracies, networks of people and the stories of our lives that we weave.

When she is present, there is always a web of intrigue and an interesting story. Isis on the simplest level is about putting puzzles together (including the human puzzle), and on the more complex ones, about the “black goddess,” who we like to think does not exist, or who is not a goddess; she’s supposedly just an idol. Not only does she exist, she can reign supreme, so we have something here of the conspiracy of the goddess made available to anyone who is willing to be initiated, and the goddess intervening in any conspiracies that may be afoot.

This whole configuration in Leo opposes asteroid Achilles at 18+ degrees and Neptune at 20+ degrees Aquarius. This casts an aura of insecurity over the whole program. Achilles is about a compromised sense of one’s adequacy, particularly in women, that is most often not based in reality. It typically represents the mother’s projections onto the daughter, which are picked up by the child and end up in an adult woman feeling a sense of personal lack or limitation that is simply not true.

Neptune in this configuration says be clear in your relationships, and don’t let your own or anyone else’s sense that you are “less than” lead you to believe the same thing. You don’t have to accept the insecurities of others as your own. This picks up on the Okyrhoe/Chiron theme of being willing to stand up for your beliefs, and stand out with them. You don’t need to accept the illusion of others, about you, or about the world. This is an excellent message: you think for yourself, I’ll think for myself. You speak for yourself, I will speak for myself.

Neptune, Achilles and also Chiron are in Aquarius. This represents the crisis of groups and individuals meeting one another. It is easy to take several very smart people and have it become a very stupid group.

The Sun and Neptune are in exact contraparallel aspect (planets are in opposite declinations, which can represent two opposing or complementary viewpoints). Ceres and Sedna at 19+ and 20+ degrees Taurus form the apex of a T-square — planets at three points of a cross. So the setup is the Sun/Moon/Okyrhoe configuration in Leo; squared by Ceres and Sedna in Taurus; and opposed by Neptune and Achilles in Aquarius.

Both Ceres and Sedna talk about food and nutrition among other themes vital to our world. Ceres was the Roman goddess of harvest, agriculture and growing plants, particularly cereals. But she is also holding the energy of the grief of mothers at this time in history, because of her daughter Persephone, who was “lost” to the underworld. Really, she became the queen of the underworld. Sedna is a similar myth about a beautiful girl who is first lost to marriage, then becomes the queen of the undersea world.

This conjunction is saying go within, beneath, and toward our interior landscape or seascape. It is suggesting that we consider the nature of the personal hell that many of our children are in, and consider ways they make the most of that situation. On a global level, Sedna and Ceres are both about food, because Sedna is the goddess of the abundance of the oceans, and Ceres is about the abundance of the land.

Sun and the Moon in Leo trine Eris at 21+ degrees Aries. Here, we have a way out of the interesting psychic puzzles presented in this chart. How much of what we experience in life is really the reflection of our own fragmented minds? How willing are we to enter the crisis of that broken self-image? How much of the unfolding disaster of the world is really the product of the simple fact that we feel broken?

Is there any way to repair ourselves, except to begin to pick up the pieces? Or are we missing something else, something more useful: the underlying truth of our wholeness?

THE NEW MOON at 21+ degrees Cancer conjuncts cubewano Varuna at 17+ degrees Cancer. The Moon and Varuna are in parallel conjunction. If two bodies share the same degree of declination, that is, they are at the same distance from the celestial equator (either north or south of the celestial equator), they are said to be parallel. In chart interpretation the parallel aspect is said to have the same force as a conjunction, and a maximum orb of 1 degree only is permitted. In the New Moon chart the Moon and Varuna are sharing exactly the same degree of declination to the minute (25n21).

Varuna is named for a mighty pre-Vedic creation deity, and it was the first planet beyond Pluto ever named. Wikipedia notices that “later art depicts Varuna as a lunar deity, as a yellow man wearing golden armor and holding a noose or lasso made from a snake. He rides the sea monster Makara.”

The energy of Varuna is said to be that which is too large to comprehend and to have some attributes of the 12th house. Varuna also deals with the punishment of liars and those who violate contracts. Eric Francis has described Varuna with the words “the great equalizer.” He has also written:

One thing we can reasonably say about Varuna is that he exists on a very large scale and has the feeling of being so far beyond the human realm that he might as well be a deity-alien in a different dimension. But he’s not; we know his name, we can see him in our charts, and we can get a feeling for where we are bringing that quality of totally-beyond energy into manifestation in our lives.

In July 2005 a New Moon occurred less than a degree away from Varuna. Eric wrote at the time:

There are those moments when a planet making a close conjunction to a lunation can evoke the feeling of that planet in a palpable, even overwhelming way. The nature of the planet reveals itself before our eyes.

On a personal level and really on a collective one, we have the question of how far we will go, and what we will do to others, in order to feel ‘safe.’ We do so much in the name of alleged security; I speak to personal conduct as well as to cultural. This is a major theme of the long passage of Varuna through Cancer, which lasts through — get this — December 2012.

Asteroid Astraea is conjunct Varuna at 17+ degrees Cancer. In mythology Astraea was a personification of justice. She was the last of the immortals to live with humans during the Golden Age. As mankind became wicked, she was the last to stay on earth. Zeus then placed her amongst the stars as the constellation Virgo. The scales of justice she carried became the constellation of Libra. The Theoi Project mentions that Astraea was identified with both Dike the goddess of justice, and Nemesis the goddess of rightful indignation.

Last July the New Moon occurred square Astraea and Eric wrote:

She is a little reminder — we’ve lived in other very messed up times in history. Indeed, history (the real thing, not what you read in books in school) is usually the story of how messed up it all is, and how well we do despite it all. Humanity perseveres. As a member of humanity, you have that option, as long as you remember who and what you are.

The Sun and the Moon form a very exact T-square with Echeclus in Libra and Eris in Aries. In the chart cast for The Hague, Netherlands, Echeclus is rising. Echeclus is a small centaur planet which has also been designated a comet. Asteroid Hidalgo — the asteroid which deals with themes of rebelling against hypocrisy — and centaur planet Chariklo are conjunct Echeclus. 1992 QB1 is conjunct Eris. 1992 QB1 was the first object which was discovered beyond Pluto.

The Sun and Moon are sextile cubewano 2005 FY9 at 21+ degrees Virgo. As I have mentioned before, 2005 FY9 is the apex of a Yod pattern (150-150-60 degrees) which took shape already in April and will hold till late July. The other members of this Yod are Neptune in Aquarius, and Eris and 1992 QB1 in Aries. Another Yod is formed by the Sun, the Moon, 2005 FY9 and Neptune as the apex. Asteroid Bacchus is now conjunct 2005 FY9. The New Moon is sextile Sedna in Taurus, trine Uranus in Pisces and biquintile Quaoar in Sagittarius.

Mercury in Cancer forms a septile aspect to Saturn, a quintile to Eris, a biquintile to Nessus, a biquintile to Hylonome and a quincunx to Pholus. Mercury stationed direct on July 10, but it is currently still in its echo phase.

Venus in the last degree of Leo is about to enter Virgo, which happens about six hours after the New Moon on July 14. Venus is in conjunction with Saturn, Orcus and asteroid Atlantis. Atlantis carries a theme of abuse of information and technological power.

Venus is in a septile aspect to Echeclus in Libra, square Pholus in Sagittarius, square Hylonome in Scorpio, trine Pluto in Sagittarius, trine Asbolus in Taurus and quincunx asteroid Amor in the first degree of Aries. Amor is the asteroid related to unconditional love. Amor is in direct motion but it will station retrograde at the Aries Point on July 16, the same day that retrograding Pluto conjuncts the Galactic Core.

Venus is opposite cubewano Teharonhiawako, a recently named binary Kuiper belt object which was discovered in 2001. It was named after a creator deity of the Iroquois Nation. The companion object is named for his twin brother Sawiskera. The naming — the latest of the newly discovered planets — took place in April 2007.

Mars in Taurus is conjunct Ceres and Thereus, novile Cyllarus, quintile Teharonhiawako and square Chiron. Ceres squares Chiron and Nessus. Chiron sextiles Quaoar. Juno sextiles Quaoar, trines Chiron and squares Varuna. Vesta is in conjunction with Pholus in Sagittarius.

Jupiter-Ixion conjunction is in a semisquare aspect to Chariklo, sextile to Nessus and opposite to Chaos. Asteroid Apollo conjuncts Chaos.

Saturn sextiles Echeclus in Libra and Cyllarus in Gemini. Saturn squares Sedna, trines Eris and Pluto and opposes Neptune. Hidalgo in Libra sextiles Saturn. Amor at the Aries Point forms a biquintile to Saturn.

Asteroids Kassandra at 17+ degrees Pisces and Pallas at 19+ degrees Pisces are in conjunction with Uranus. Uranus sextiles Sedna, squares Quaoar, trines Varuna and opposes Logos and 2005 FY9. According to Eric, “Kassandra is the syndrome wherein nobody believes you if you tell the truth but everyone believes you if you make up stories. …People believe stories more than they believe the truth, which is why stories are such an important conveyor of truth.”

Neptune sextiles Eris and squares Sedna. Asteroid Achilles is conjunct Neptune. Echeclus and Cyllarus are trine Neptune.

Asteroid Lilith is in conjunction with Pluto. Pluto biquintiles Sedna. Cyllarus opposes Pluto. Pluto is also receiving a sextile from Chariklo, a square from Amor, a trine from Asbolus and a trine from the stellium in Leo formed by Saturn, Orcus, Atlantis and Venus.

THE NEW MOON occurs at 23+ degrees Gemini. Sabian Symbol for Gemini 24 by Marc Edmund Jones: “Children skating on ice. This is a symbol of the persisting imminence of adventure in experience, and of the constant danger to self in failing to sustain or order the complex of things as they are. Implicit in the symbolism is the value of an established reality as a foundation for further refinement of personal capacity and skill. The satisfaction of a successful self-expression always must remain a dynamic impetus to further achievement, and so never become a static aplomb or a surrender to self as it stands. The keyword is fun.”

The New Moon conjuncts centaur planet Cyllarus. The mythological creature after which this body is named was a young and beautiful centaur that was in love with a female centaur, Hylonome. I quote Eric Francis: “This is conjunct the centaur planet Cyllarus, which (as the presence of any centaur does) accelerates the processes indicated by the lunation, and reminds us to be conscious of the choices we are making in our lives — particularly the choice to fight, or walk away from a fight. Cyllarus reminds us that the decisions we make in life directly affect our relationships profoundly, and we need to be conscious of them in this context. We are connected by the threads of our lives to every person in our lives.”

The Sun, Moon and Cyllarus are opposite Pluto on the Galactic Core, trine Neptune and sextile to a triple conjunction of Mars, 1992 QB1 and Eris in Aries. Mars sextiles Neptune and trines Saturn. Saturn and Neptune are approaching their third exact opposition, which will occur on June 25. Saturn sextiles Cyllarus and forms a trine to Eris and to 1992 QB1. Neptune sextiles Eris and 1992 QB1. Mars = Sun/Neptune = Moon/Neptune.

Jupiter conjunct the Great Attractor sextiles Chiron in Aquarius. Jupiter sextiles also Juno – 2003 EL61 – Rhadamanthus conjunction in Libra. Jupiter = Chiron/Juno.

Mercury is moving very slowly at the moment of the New Moon; it’s almost standing still, getting ready to make its retrograde station, which happens later on the same day at 23:40 UT. Mercury doesn’t make aspects to any main planets, but it is in close conjunction with asteroid Industria. “Industria” is the Latin word for “diligence.” Diligence is one of the seven virtues and the opposite of sloth, its counterpart among the seven deadly sins.

The New Moon semisquares Venus, which is in conjunction with asteroid Sisyphus. Sisyphus of Greek mythology was compelled as a punishment to roll a huge rock up a hill forever. Before he reached the top of the hill, the rock always escaped him and he had to start again. Martha Lang-Wescott calls the Venus-Sisyphus conjunction the “Mother Teresa aspect.”

Both Industria and Sisyphus seem to have a relationship with a great amount of continuous work. Eric Francis explained the difference to me:

“I think that the key difference will be that Sisyphus work will seem pointless, while Industria work will feel like inventing a process to extract bromine from fossilized seawater, leading to many other developments (such as plastics and dioxins). In other words, industrialists stop at nothing. But look at the world they create.”

Venus also conjuncts two centaur planets, Okyrhoe and Elatus. According to Philip Sedgwick, Okyrhoe “promotes principles of discernment and conscious life skills.” His delineation for Elatus is “expression of self and ego through word and writing.”

Uranus squares Cyllarus and sextiles Sedna. Pallas is in close conjunction with Uranus. Pallas and Uranus oppose cubewano Logos in Virgo tightly. Another opposition in Virgo-Pisces polarity is formed by main belt asteroids Urania and Psyche. Urania is named after the heavenly muse of astrology and astronomy. Urania-Psyche opposition is aligned with the nodal axis.

Ceres occupies the discovery degree of Chiron at 3+ degrees Taurus.

The brightest asteroid, Vesta — among other things representing issues related to work — at 5+ degrees Sagittarius shines exceptionally bright these days, as Vesta will reach its perihelion (the point where an object orbiting the Sun is closest to the Sun) on June 16.

New Moon in Taurus – May 16, 2007, 19:27 UT

The New Moon at 25+ degrees Taurus is right on the descendant of the chart cast for The Hague, Netherlands. The Moon in Taurus and Venus in Cancer are in mutual reception. The Sun and the Moon are conjunct Sedna, an inner Oort cloud object discovered in 2003 by Michael Brown’s team and named in honor of Inuit goddess of the sea. The luminaries are squaring plutino Orcus in Leo and Neptune in Aquarius.

Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, is trining Chiron and Nessus in Aquarius, and the triple conjunction of Juno, Rhadamanthus, and 2003 EL61 in Libra. They form a Grand Air Trine. Mercury is in conjunction with cubewano Chaos and opposes Vesta-Ixion conjunction in Sagittarius. Vesta-Ixion conjunction sextiles Nessus and the aforementioned triple conjunction in Libra and forms thus the apex of a Kite.

Mars at the Aries Point has ingressed Aries the previous day. Mars conjuncts centaur planet Bienor, squares Pluto and semisquares Chiron. Dwarf planets Ceres and Eris are in conjunction with 1992 QB1 in Aries.

Jupiter conjuncts cubewano Quaoar, trines Saturn and sextiles Chiron. Jupiter forms a T-square with Uranus in Pisces and cubewano Logos in Virgo. Saturn opposes Chiron and Neptune, and squares Sedna. Chiron semisquares the Aries Point.

Plutino Ixion in Sagittarius squares the lunar nodes. Pallas is in conjunction with the North Node at 13+ degrees Pisces.

There are two Yods in the chart. The other one is valid only about a week from now. Cubewano Varuna in Cancer is the apex of the pattern and forms quincunxes to Chiron in Aquarius and to Jupiter-Quaoar conjunction in Sagittarius. Another Yod, formed by Neptune in Aquarius, 2005 FY9 at 21+ degrees Virgo as the apex, and the conjunction of Eris and 1992 QB1 in Aries, is valid about three months in all, holding its shape till late July. This is due to long orbits of the planets involved. Neptune is the fastest of these planets.

The Sun and the Moon are forming a novile aspect to asteroid 1862 Apollo at 14+ degrees Aries on the moment of the New Moon. Other aspects of Apollo in the New Moon chart are a conjunction to Icarus; a sextile to Chiron; an opposition to Juno; and a trine to Vesta, to Jupiter, to Saturn, to Quaoar, to Ixion and to the Great Attractor.

Asteroid 1862 Apollo was discovered in 1932, but then lost and recovered in 1973. It is the namesake of the Apollo asteroids, a group of Earth-crosser asteroids, which can get very close to the Earth. Apollo was the first asteroid found to cross Earth’s orbit. It crosses also the orbits of Venus and Mars. Apollo’s orbital period is 1.8 years, it spins every three hours, and it has a tiny binary companion orbiting it closely.

Currently Apollo is moving very fast, because it is now near its perihelion, its closest point to the Sun. It had entered Capricorn just before the Full Moon two weeks ago, and since then it has already rushed through the signs of Aquarius and Pisces, too. Apollo entered Aquarius on May 6th, Pisces on May 9th and Aries on May 13th. It stayed only three days in Aquarius! On May 8th Apollo made a flyby past the Earth at a distance of 10.7 million kilometres, providing stargazers in the southern hemisphere a wonderful opportunity for observations. The current flyby occurs conveniently in May, as the Delia, an ancient Greek festival held in honor of Apollo at the island of Delos, was celebrated annually in May.

In Greek and Roman mythology Apollo was a Sun god. He was the god of light and truth, medicine and healing, poetry and music. He was also the god of divination.

Apollo was the son of Zeus and Leto. The birth of Apollo and his twin sister Artemis took place in the island of Delos on the seventh day of the month. The island bathed in golden light and swans made a circle seven times round the island at Apollo’s birth. The number seven was sacred to him. The seventh and twentieth, the days of the new and full moon, were ever since held sacred to him.

Apollo was the leader of the nine Muses and played on a lyre which Hermes had made and given him. When infant Chiron became rejected by his mother, it was Apollo who adopted him. Apollo and Artemis became Chiron’s teachers and taught him many skills. Later on Chiron himself became a respected teacher and tutor for many great heroes including Asclepius, Achilles, Jason, Heracles, and also Dionysus.

The Apollonian and Dionysian is a philosophical and literary concept, a dichotomy or contrast. Apollo represents harmony, order and reason, while Dionysus represents ecstasy and disorder. The Greeks did not consider the qualities that Apollo and Dionysus represented as rivaling, but complementary. Apollo had a famous oracle at Delphi. When he at winter left for Hyperborea — a distant northern land where the Sun was shining twentyfour hours a day — he left the oracle at Delphi to Dionysus.

Eric Francis writes in the Spiral Door Almanac:

“It is strange to think of Apollo as an asteroid. In mythology, he is the Sun god, burning bright, seen riding across the sky with his chariot. The Sun is the center of the solar system, the source of life and the gravitational mass holding everything in place. But this is hardly the condition of an asteroid, particularly this one, a small thing with a strange orbit. So it is plausible to propose that the asteroid Apollo is a light-bringer in other ways, in the strangest of places if you look for it right. He may represent something of the inner quality or talent of seeing the light where others might not see it.”

On March 7th, 2007, news was released telling us that scientists had found a “solar-powered asteroid”. An international research team led by mathematician Mikko Kaasalainen from Finland had found an asteroid whose rotation gets an extra kick from solar radiation. The team found that Apollo’s rotation speed steadily increases, and showed that this is due to the re-radiation of solar energy from its surface. Re-radiation of solar energy acts as if there were small propulsion engines on Apollo’s surface. The effect is tiny, but this study shows that sunlight can make an asteroid spin so fast it eventually breaks up and splits into a binary all by itself. The results of the study are important among other things for understanding binary asteroids.

It is intriguing that asteroid Apollo at the moment is in conjunction with asteroid 1566 Icarus, another asteroid from the Apollo group. At perihelion Icarus is closer to the Sun than Mercury. It is named after Icarus of Greek mythology, who flew too close to the Sun. In the myth Daedalus and his son Icarus were imprisoned. They were able to escape with wings that Daedalus had prepared for them. Daedalus warned Icarus not to fly too high or the Sun would melt the wax he had used on the wings. Icarus forgot the warning and flew too high, the wax melted, and Icarus fell down into the sea.

THE NEW MOON at 27+ degrees Aries conjuncts centaur planet Asbolus, dwarf planet Eris and 1992 QB1. The Sun and the Moon are trining Pluto and the Galactic Core. The New Moon occurs at the midpoint of Uranus and Venus-Chaos conjunction, and the Sun and the Moon are forming novile aspects to the aforementioned planets.

Mercury and dwarf planet Ceres are in conjunction at 11+ degrees Aries.

Saturn and Neptune are squaring Sedna in Taurus, and the three planets are forming a T-square. Another interesting T-square is formed by Venus-Chaos conjunction in Gemini, Pholus in Sagittarius, and a triple conjunction of Mars, Pallas and Amor in Pisces as the apex of the T-square.

Uranus and asteroid Icarus are on the North Node. Vesta squares the nodes and sextiles Chiron.

Bienor, the “Strong One,” is at the Aries Point. Asteroid Hopi is on the Great Attractor.

The Sun and the Moon in Aries, Pluto in Sagittarius, and plutino Orcus in Leo form a Grand Fire Trine. Asteroid Pandora is in conjunction with Orcus. Asteroid Iris at 28+ degrees Gemini, exactly opposite Pluto, completes the Grand Trine as a Kite pattern. Centaur planet Chariklo in Libra opposite the New Moon makes another focal point for a Kite.

A Kite is a more workable aspect pattern than the easy-flowing Grand Trine. A planet at the midpoint of two planets, making sextiles to them and opposing a third, offers a focus and can help us work our way out of stuck patterns of a Grand Trine.

Asteroid number 7 Iris, discovered in 1847, is one of the largest and brightest main belt asteroids. The name is especially appropriate to the circumstances of her discovery, as she was spotted following asteroid Juno closely (Juno is the Roman equivalent of Hera).

In Greco-Roman mythology, Iris is a female counterpart to Hermes/Mercury. She is the messenger of the gods, particularly the personal messenger of the goddess Hera. She is the personification of the rainbow, the connection between heaven and earth, gods and mortals. She is said to be as elusive and unpredictable as the rainbow itself.

Iris is often represented as a young maiden with golden wings on her shoulders and a caduceus and a vase in her hands. She lifts water from lakes and streams to the clouds so that it can fall again to the ground to water farmers’ crops. She travels with the speed of the wind. One of her duties is that of leading the souls of dead women to the Elysian Fields, the final resting place of the souls.

Iris’ name can be connected with both “iris,” the rainbow, and “eiris,” a messenger. She is a guide and adviser, and her presence can be seen as a sign of hope.

New Moon in Pisces – March 19, 2007, 02:43 UT

The eclipse occurs on the North Node conjunct the Aries Point.

A PILE of planets in Pisces is squaring another pile in Sagittarius. The Sun and the Moon in the late degrees of Pisces are in conjunction with dwarf planet Ceres and centaur planet Bienor and square to Pluto and the Galactic Core. The Greek name Bienor means “Strong One.” Uranus is on the North Node. The eclipse point is semisextile Pallas and semisquare Chiron, both in Aquarius, and quincunx asteroid Pandora and plutino Orcus in Leo.

Mercury, which has ingressed second time to Pisces on the previous day, is in conjunction with two main belt asteroids, Pallas and Icarus, and opposing Pandora and Orcus. Mercury sextiles Venus in Taurus and Pluto in Sagittarius. Mercury is still in the echo phase.

Venus in Taurus in its own sign trines Pluto and semisquares Uranus. Venus forms an aspect to all female centaurs: she opposes Chariklo, quincunxes Hylonome and squares Okyrhoe.

Urania, Nessus, Chiron, Mars, Neptune, Amor, and Pallas are in a stellium in Aquarius. Mars-Neptune conjunction opposes tightly Saturn and asteroid Sphinx. Mars semisquares the Aries Point.

The Fire Trine, formed by Saturn in Leo, Jupiter and asteroid Toro in Sagittarius, and dwarf planet Eris and centaur Asbolus in Aries is holding. The Grand Trine is completed as a Kite configuration by Neptune in Aquarius, only this time asteroid Amor instead of Pallas conjunct Neptune.

The Fixed Grand Cross formed by Saturn, Apollo, Sedna, and Neptune is more accurate than what it was at the moment of the Total Lunar Eclipse earlier this month. Neptune septiles Pluto. Ixion and Hopi are still on the Great Attractor.

Jupiter, Saturn, Asbolus, Neptune, Logos, Eris, Sedna, Apollo, and Toro are all at +19/+20 degrees aspecting each other tightly.

The New Moon at 28+ degrees Aquarius opposes plutino Orcus at 27+ degrees Leo.

The Moon sextiles Pluto and asteroid Lilith in Sagittarius, squares asteroid Vesta and centaur planet Hylonome in early Sagittarius and trines asteroid Juno and centaur planet Echeclus in Libra. Echeclus is a minor planet which has a cometary coma and is classified not only as a centaur but also as a comet (just like Chiron). The New Moon also forms a septile to dwarf planet Eris at 20+ degrees Aries and quintiles to Jupiter and to cubewano Quaoar in Sagittarius.

The Moon is loosely conjunct Neptune and asteroid Pallas. Neptune, Eris and cubewano Logos at 19+ degrees Virgo form a Yod (150 – 150 – 60 degrees), Logos being the apex planet. Logos has a binary companion called Zoe and together they make a binary object located in the Kuiper Belt. Logos and Zoe have almost the same size. They revolve around a common point located between them.

There are two Grand Trines in the chart, one in air, the other in fire. The New Moon in Aquarius, asteroid Klotho in Gemini and Juno conjuncting comet-like Echeclus in Libra form the Air Trine. The Fire Trine is formed by Eris in Aries, retrograding Saturn in Leo and Quaoar in Sagittarius.

Klotho in Gemini, the conjunction of Pluto and Lilith in Sagittarius and Venus in Pisces form a T-square. Venus sextiles Mars and asteroid Urania. There is a semisquare between Venus and Chiron, and between Chiron and the conjunction of Pluto and Lilith. Chiron = Moon/Mars = Venus/Pluto.

Mercury retrograde in Pisces conjuncts Uranus and forms a T-square with cubewano Chaos in Gemini and centaur planet Pholus in Sagittarius.

Jupiter, Ixion and Quaoar are in conjunction. Jupiter squares the lunar nodes. Uranus and dwarf planet Ceres are on the North Node. Asteroid Psyche is retrograde on the South Node. Juno and Echeclus sesquisquare Uranus.
